In this Neilmarie Salon hair tutorial, Jody shows us how she creates a dazzling, feathered-ponytail evening hair style! She starts by introducing a hair feather into a side braid. She separates Sarah’s hair into two sections: a small section where the braid is going to be; and the larger section where the side ponytail is going to follow. She then focuses on section two by taking a thin part of it and laying it over. She uses this part of the hair to smooth over the part she backcombs. After misting the hair with a touch of hairspray, she then backcombs it using a smoothing comb. She takes the part she left out to camouflage the backcombing she did so as to give the hair a smoother look. Remember, if your hair is really soft, you can always apply some hairspray to it to help it lock in and lay flat. Jody then easily places the rest of Sarah’s hair into a ponytail. She sections the side ponytail into four sections and gives it a finishing curl. Finally, she applies more hairspray to ensure that the curls are well locked in. After she places one last curl to the side, she touches up the hair with Enjoy Creamy Pomade. This will give Sarah’s bangs a more piecey and stylish look.
